Old Fort Niagara, originally established in the 1600s by the French, is one of the Great Lakes area's oldest structures. Regular re-enactments of the time period are also offered at the site.

Just 2 miles from The Marshall House, Whirlpool State Park is a great place to enjoy hiking along the Niagara Gorge Rim Trail, have a romantic picnic, or even try a little fishing. While on-site restrooms are open seasonally, Whirlpool State Park has magnificent views in all 4 seasons!
